Visiting Pasilong sa Naga - Newest Attraction in the South
Christmas is really in the air. Everywhere we go we see the colorful lights that filled the streets. For this weekend, we head off to the city of Naga to check their famous attraction.
Pasilong sa Naga
Since it's a Sunday, the place is packed with tourists and families spending the day in the park, waiting for the lights to turn on and witnessing the spectacular show in their town plaza.
The park is located just along the national highway, across the century-old church in Naga City. It is just one ride away from where we live, and the travel time was almost an hour.
The place is well maintained and security personnel are easily seen throughout the park. The place is perfect to chill and take photos with you and your loved ones.
This beautiful park is designed by a world renowned Cebuano designer - Kenneth Cobonpue. As described by the designer on his facebook post, Pasilong sa Naga which translate to "to find shade in Naga" is designed with interlocking rings as to which the designer represents the cycle of life. Nature's way of taking and giving back to the earth.
What do you think of his concept?
I think he was able to perfectly conceptualize his theme through this obra. The look of the park is one of a kind.

It's one of the newest attractions in town, aside from the Naga Boardwalk, and its park is now filled with Christmas lights and a giant Christmas tree. There are also benches available all around the park. We saw a lot of families having picnic on the bench.
You wont go hungry while you are on a tour in Naga, there are a lot of food establishment near the park and also food stalls with bbq and other street food are available.
Aside from Pasilong sa Naga, here are other spots you can visit just within their town plaza.
- Naga Boardwalk
- The Maze
