Sugbo Sentro - Your One-Stop Hangout Spot For All Things Food and Drinks

Hello Hivers, It’s the weekend once again.

Are you looking for some food? Somewhere to chill on a Friday Night, with drinks and some acoustic music? Worry no more.

There is a newly opened food park in Cebu, and it is located in the IT Park in Salinas Drive just across the Waterfront Hotel in Lahug. Come and join me as we explore my new favorite hangout in town.

Sugbo Sentro

The place is somewhat familiar to Sugbo Mercado, with alfresco dining and various food stalls available in the area. Sugbo Sentro offers a variety of Filipino, Korean, Mexican, and American-inspired cuisine and snacks. Refreshments are also available, such as coffee, juice, or even booze. With our 35 tenants in the area, there is definitely a lot to choose from. This is the new go-to place for all things food and drinks.

Sugbo Sentro is open daily from 10 a.m. until 12 a.m. This is also the place where I was able to try my first Tuslob Buwa experience, about which I wrote on a previous blog at Queens Tuslob Buwa.

Unlike Sugbo Mercado, which is usually jump-packed and crowded at all times, Sugbo Sentro is still not that crowded, although Sugbo Mercado sure is a lot bigger than the latter. Probably because they are still new but nonetheless both are good places to chill and unwind.

So if ever you are in Cebu City, you should include Sugbo Sentro in your itinerary and enjoy a gastronomical experience with Cebu’s best foods and get serenaded by local Cebuano bands.
