First Time to Visit NuSTAR Resort & Casino Cebu

Hey there, awesome Hive friends! Another busy work week has kicked off, and I'm excited to give you a sneak peek into my weekend escapade at NuSTAR Cebu.

NuSTAR is the newest 5-star casino and resort located in the heart of Cebu City, it's name is inspired by the North Star "Polaris" which is the brightest star in the sky, and true to it's name, NuSTAR really aims to go big and bright with a whopping 1,000 rooms across a sprawling 9.7 hectares property. This was my first visit to this lavish spot, tagging along with some work-buddies.

Would you look at that stunning chandelier? Isn't it beautiful? Per NusSTAR, The chandelier at the lobby is inspired by school of fish, which is famous attraction in in the southern town of Moalboal known as the Sardine Run.

The casino itself is sophisticated, with over 1,500 gaming machines and 250 tables – a real haven for those who love a bit of gambling fun. Of course, we couldn't resist playing at the casino, we hit some slot machines and roulettes although snapping pics inside was a no-go.

But NuSTAR isn't just about rolling the dice; it's a hub of entertainment with a movie theater and a mall that's still gearing up but already flaunting big-name stores like Balenciaga, Dior, and Louis Vuitton. And let's not forget the dining options – Italian steakhouse Il Primo, Cafe Laguna, Fina, which is the in house restuarant of NuStar that serves classic Filipino dishes, and of course the only Mott 32 in the Philippines to name a few. My friends and I hit up Cafe Laguna for lunch, but I'll save out the details on that in a separate blog.

All in all, our NuSTAR experience was a delightful mix of sightseeing and trying our luck at the roulette tables. It's not every day you get to soak in the vibes of such a chic place. How about you? Have you had the chance to check out NuSTAR?
