Weekends are for Theme Parks | Exploring Anjo World with the Kids

When was the last time you visited an amusement park? I have always been a fan of amusement and theme parks. Being in one, feels so nostalgic and It brings back so many good memories from my childhood. One of the most unforgettable moments was when we would go visit the Enchanted Kingdom or Star City back then.

I also want my kids to experience the same thing, so I brought them to Anjo World over the weekend during their vacation in the city.

Anjo World is located in Minglanilla, Cebu. It's the first theme park in Cebu and the biggest in Visayas. It started operations way back in 2018, and there are 12 rides available in Anjo's World. They have kid-friendly rides and adrenaline-pumping rides for the kids at heart.

We book our tickets online via Klook. The online transaction was hassle-free, and they also have an exclusive line for Klook users, plus I got a 20% discount on the tickets since it was my first time using the app.

Here are the regular rates at Anjo's World:

Back then, Anjos was only open from Wednesday to Sunday, but just recently, they are now available every day of the week.

They are open from 12 NN to 8 PM from Monday through Friday and 10 AM to 8 PM on Saturday and Sunday.

Aside from the rides, they also have Snow World if you want to experience how a winter wonderland feels. Unfortunately, since we only had limited time during our visit, we were unable to explore Snow World. We will just save it for the next time the kids are in the city.

We had an amazing afternoon in the theme park, although we weren't able to finish all the rides since the twins were also kind of scared to try the more extreme ones. One of our favorites was the bumpcar experience called the London Taxi and the Space Shuttle. We also had a lot of fun in the bumper boats and, of course, at Anjo's Eye, the biggest Ferris Wheel in the Visayas, standing at 200 feet tall, which gives you a birds-eye view of the beautiful landscape of Minglanilla.

Before riding the ferris wheel, there is a photobooth where you can take souvenir pictures for only 250.00 per hard copy, and you can also download the digital one through their site. We decided to get a picture as a souvenir. It was worth it.

There are also different food kiosks available in Anjo's since you are not allowed to bring food and water from the outside. Although one hack is to bring your own tumbler, that's what we did, and it saved us some money for the mineral water since the prices inside were quite pricey. There is also a cafe called Caff Colosseo located right under Anjos Eye.

---

We had hotdogs, fries, and ice cream for snacks from the food kiosk. All in all, the kids enjoyed their first experience in Anjos World, and I look forward to going back here with them and exploring Snow World the next time.

You can also check out their Official FB page to be updated on any promos and changes in terms of rates and availability.
